Valley of Alliance Hosts 180th Reunion on April 8-9th

The Valley of Alliance welcomed two new Brethren as 32° Princes of the Royal Secret on April 8-9 at their 180th Reunion, dedicated in honor of Robert H. Cole, a 65 year member who passed away last November. You can read more about Brother Cole here.

Brother Travis Wenzel from Arthur, Nebraska (Zion Lodge #234 in Hyannis) and David Kaufman from Gering (Robert Furnas #265 in Scottsbluff) received the degrees at the Spring Reunion.

The evening began on Friday night with the 4° and 14°, followed by the 18°, 30°, and 32° on Saturday morning. Afterward, the Valley hosted a banquet to welcome the two new brethren with Cowboy poet Tim Nolting from Bushnell, Nebraska. Tim entertained the brethren and ladies with several poems, including one about a poorly-placed rivet on his Levi Strauss jeans. Guests enjoyed fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and spice cake.

The Fall Reunion will be on November 4-5th at the Alliance Scottish Rite. Interested Masons should get in touch with Gene Gatti, 33°, General Secretary, at gene123@mail.com or (308) 762-4324 for a petition.
