Lincoln Hosts 2nd Statewide RiteCare Meeting
Several years ago, Charles V. Sederstrom, Jr., 33°, Sovereign Grand Inspector General in Nebraska, began working to improve the unity between Nebraska's RiteCare clinics. He noticed that the clinics in Hastings, Lincoln, Omaha, and the newest clinic in Kearney were operating semi-independently of one another. Thus began an annual tradition of bringing together Nebraska's RiteCare clinicians and Scottish Rite Masons. . .
BEA and the Scottish Rite Team Up for 4th Annual Ethics on Trial
On Thursday, April 21st, the Alliance and Omaha's Scottish Rite produced their 4th annual "Ethics on Trial" at the Scottish Rite theater. The multi-media production uses a mock-trial format and audience participation to explore ethical issues such as: a wrong-vs-wrong ethical choice, stem cell donation, media ethics, and, this year, a corporate code of ethics policy on employee political activity.
